Ballachrink Farm is well hidden but is marked on the 1 INCH/MILE Ordnance Survey map (390997). If you use satnav put “ballanelson nurseries IM7 3HD” into it; when you arrive there follow the concrete farm lane opposite, continue over 2 speed bumps and drive several hundred yards further, over another speed bump and continue for another several hundred yards where the property can be found on the left hand side. Take Jurby Road to St Judes, turn RIGHT at St Judes crossroads to Kirk Andreas Drive for 1.9 miles and TURN LEFT at sign saying Jurby Coast Road Drive for 1.5 miles and TURN right opposite BALLANELSON NURSERIES up a concrete farm lane immediately before a house (converted Methodist chapel) newly painted CREAM. Drive over two black and yellow speed bumps almost immediately, then drive about 0.3 mile to a third speed bump. You are getting warm.

First house after this is Ballachrink Beg. Second house is Ballachrink Farm - round stone gateposts with white caps, no name marked but sign outside saying “WATCH OUT WATCH OUT SMALL DOGS ABOUT”. YOU HAVE ARRIVED.


Turn RIGHT at Sulby Glen Hotel along Sulby Straight. Turn LEFT at Sulby Bridge AFTER ABOUT 1.5 MILES you reach St Judes crossroads Go STRAIGHT OVER then follow directions as above


TAKE ROAD TO BALLACRAINE CROSSROADS Follow TT Course to/through K Michael until BALLAUGH BRIDGE.   Turn LEFT, immediately after the bridge, to Jurby, continue (SEVERAL MILES), eventually past the new prison and Jurby airfield on your RIGHT, TURN RIGHT the second road after the airfield (only a few hundred yards). It is marked BRETNEY ROAD and you can easily see the sign from the main road.  Drive along this road, past (on the right hand side) the top of the Summerhill Road (which is on an S bend). You are now on Jurby East Road. Keep going until you come to another road on the right (Bayr Rhendhoo or Road of the black division) Here turn LEFT opposite Ballanelson Nurseries up a concrete farm lane immediately after the converted CREAM CHAPEL and follow directions from above
