Amenity Website = http://jtmiom.im/The Jurby Transport Museum is housed in a Second World War hangar number 230 which is located on the former Jurby airfield.
The museum features a collection of vehicles and artefacts that are of predominantly Manx relevance and includes the Island’s oldest bus, a Post Office delivery bike and the engine and carriage that used to run along Ramsey Pier.
During your visit you’ll see a number of vehicles that are awaiting restoration or that are in the process of being restored. The museum is a working operation and volunteers will be on hand to explain the processes behind bringing the vehicles back to their former glory.
Many of the exhibits can be seen in operation at vintage vehicle events which take place throughout the year including the Isle of Man Transport Festival.
There is also a small gift shop on site.
