Market is very fragile in my view ..bumping along. Very much up and down ..some good weeks some poor ones. Nothing to set the place alight. Sales mostly in the lower end which has been a constant feature for some time. Where sales have happened negotiations have taken a while. But something different occurred in August we achieved a number of sales above the £500k which is encouraging. These have been on properties that have been on the market for 2, 3 and 4 years. One was an apartment..one a detached bungalow...another an executive house which was reduced a number of times....but nevertheless movement.
My message would be if you are motivated to sell be prepared to negotiate and move on. If moving up negotiate hard there also. Nothing is lost it’s the end result that matters.
